I have been a business owner since 2010. I can’t do 9-5 period. I have always been fascinated with technology and creativity and my head for business and my love for music, allows me to do both of those things inside the same space.
I started Concept Curious in response to seeing the need for a different way to help people tell their story and sell their product or service online. As a boutique (meaning we work with a certain kind of client) minded agency we are able to stay personal and invested into the projects we work on.
As a singer/songwriter & producer, I have the privilege of understanding the needs of an artist/musician and knowing how to market them in a creative and fun way.
MY GIRL
I am madly in love with the most amazing woman. She doesn’t do “small” very well and rarely settles for mediocre. She is a believer in people and loves to see others succeed – including me! She’s outstanding at doing life and together, we run several businesses. More importantly – she loves Jesus and constantly shows God’s love. She plays piano and sings. She is my bae – in the whole world.
We have been crazy happy married for over 20 years but not without some major issues to overcome. It’s taken hard work and effort, we are truly more in love now then we were when we got married. She makes me laugh a lot and keeps me balanced – even when I really don’t want to be.
OUR KIDS
Somehow we managed the honor of parenting two world changers. An adventurous songbird of a daughter, Kelsi. She will light a fire in any room with her singing and has an adventurous spirit to change the world.
Then there is my son Jaden (adored by too many girls). He is a thinker and an internal processor, which I am not – so that makes for some amazing discussions about his really big ideas. I talk out loud ALL the time… it drives him nuts. This dude can play guitar like… well John Mayer and plays just about anything he hears once or twice. Did I mention He plays the drums just a well?!
We are a family of musicians, dreamers and coffee drinkers (not just any old coffee) – we love to find unique coffee shops and an adventure is what makes us come alive. I also like tea… English tea that is!
We are competitive, especially on family game nights.
ME
I love to find random and pointless information about all kinds of things but where I really shine is when people and music are involved. On the stage – off the stage, in the studio or the shower; I’m humming a line, thinking up some words or trying to hear a cool beat that I can’t figure out (hoping Jaden will hook me up!).
I struggled with honesty and value at times in my younger life and was hesitant to be open with people. I used to think trust was earned before you could be my friend. Now… if we’re friends, trust will be something we can always work on!
I grew up without a Dad until I was 8 years old, then at 25 – had two dads. I am thankful for the role both have played in my life – I am who I am today, because of both of them. Sadly I lost my biological Dad, John Walker to cancer in 2011 – its an ugly evil that no one should have to endure.
I have struggled with fear at times in my life but thankfully my faith is stronger and drives me to confront the giants in my life. I LOVE the verse that says perfect love casts out fear….. it’s tattooed on my arm (check out the blog my wife wrote about it and how I didn’t tell her how big it was gonna be).
I am no different than you or any other man who struggles with love, lust and everything between; who we are and how we live our lives. I am not willing to stay where I am and I am always willing to learn how to be a better son, husband & father.

My intent is that as you read these blogs you can see that there is hope/help for your situation. I will most likely write about topics that are more business or music related while Alisha writes about life… who knows maybe we’ll co-write some or even start a podcast.
