We have been involved in music since we were little kids but had different paths, influences, and training until we met in bible college in 1994. Alisha grew up as a pastors kid, involved in worship and Jamie grew up in the wake of The Walker Brother’s (a big 1960’s Pop band) height of fame, followed by the lows of an absentee father until he was 8 years old.
The diversity of our musical upbringing created an opportunity for us to work out and not walk out on our creativity in music. It forged a unique ability to work together in both the planned and the spontaneous. We hear things differently but have the same goals when it comes to music and definitely the same heart when it comes to worship.
We’ve led worship together for over 25yrs internationally, been on the road and served as worship pastors for more than 10 years. We’ve mentored, coached, trained and developed church worship teams, we’ve taught on worship and we’ve been intentional to embrace technology, stage and lighting design to enhance the room without sacrificing intimacy and presence.
An empty room filled with God’s presence is more important than an impressive sound system, stage or lighting design that is void of God’s presence. The two together, however, is incredible.
We’re about building community and family, from Front of House/AVL to the stage and the time spent off the stage doing life together.
Currently, we live in Franklin, TN and are writing new for a new album, producing music and working on some new projects – stay tuned!
